Prior to embarking upon a fulltime career as translator in 1989, I’d my feet and soul firmly rooted in journalism and publishing. Translation for me had been a pastime where I would spend hour upon hour rendering into Arabic and into Hebrew poems and other literary works that stuck my fancy. Translation was thus my love and my love affair, and with academic background in Education as well as Political Science, I decided to return to university and study translation and translation theory at a more formal level. I translate from English into, as well as seamlessly between Arabic and Hebrew. I have a high-end command of my mother-tongue and my aim is to deliver translations having the look-and-feel of an original Arabic or Hebrew. My clientele is international, and the range of projects I tackle spans from law to academia to medical materials. I am will ever remain, through my work, a communicator.
