I was born in a Displaced Persons (DP) Camp in the city of Hessisch Liechtenau, near the city of Kassel in Germany. I grew up in France until the age of 5, where I attended kindergarten and first grade in a public school. In 1952, we moved to Argentina, where I attended a Hebrew elementary school and trilingual state schools (Spanish/Portuguese, English, French) in Argentina and Brazil. I am a graduate of Tel Aviv University (Social Sciences and Faculty of Law). I am also a graduate of Bar-Ilan University in a one-year course in “Community Translation” (2010-2011). Furthermore, I am a licensed professional, a freelance translator, working with law firms, commercial and industrial companies, translation agencies, corporates, and private clients in Israel and abroad (Spain, Portugal, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Angola, France, Italy, Germany, USA). I have accumulated significant relevant professional experience as editor of the Spanish weekly "Aurora" (Israel), freelance reporter on economic and political issues for the newspapers "Davar" (Israel), La Nacion (Argentina), O Globo (Brazil), and Chicago Tribune (USA).
