ITA Membership FAQ

How much is the membership fee and what is the duration of membership it covers?

Membership is for one calendar year (Jan 1 - Dec 31), and prices are as follows:

  • Regular membership: 400 NIS  (Loyalty discount : 360 NIS)
  • Senior membership (for those aged 60 and above on the day of registration):300 NIS (Loyalty discount: 270 NIS)
  • Student membership (only for current students in recognized academic institutions.): 200 NIS
    When registering or renewing as a student, please send a current document attesting to your student status.

(*) 30% discount on membership for the first year for new members!


Can I join the ITA during the calendar year?

Of course you can! We welcome new members at any time.

Members registering during the year, pay a pro-rata rate - by months. The fee from the registration date to the end of the calendar year is calculated , automatically by the registration form, including your new member discount. And when you renew for the following calendar year, the remainder of your first year discounted is also automatically figured into the renewal fee.

- Please note -  the pro-rata price is not applicable to late renewals. The renewals page on the site calculates the renewal fees according to our records)

What do I need to do join the ITA right now?

To sign up, please complete the membership form and select a payment method.

Registered members whose membership has expired or is about to expire may complete the renew membership form and select a payment method.

What are the payment options ?

There are two payment options:

Even if you don't have a Paypal account, you can pay by credit card via Paypal

After paying, please send email to about the payment, so we can match the payment to your name.Please add a screenshot of the transaction information. If the account you paid from has additional owners, please specify their names. If there are multiple account owners, sometimes not all the names are shown.

Once your profile is activated it will appear on the Translators Directory on the ITA. It is also recommended to download and install the ITA mobile application for members. It alerts you to all of our updates, including job offers in your language pairs.


How long does it take to process my registration/payment?

After your payment is processed, your profile will be activated and you'll be able to log in with your user name and password. Please note the this may take up to a week after payment is received. Your profile will be activated on the same you receive a receipt from the ITA for your payment.

Can I get a document stating that I am an ITA member?

If you need an official confirmation that you are an ITA members, you can request it from the ITA executive commitee. The document is for the calendar year you paid for. You can ask for it to be in Hebrew, English, or both.

Please note: The ITA does not issue membership cards


What is the loyalty discount?

The loyalty discount is given to members who have paid their membership fees for four full consecutive years prior to the year their paying for.

There is a section in the update profile page that shows you the previous years you paid for, and whether you're eligible for a loyalty discount. The discount is calculated automatically by the renewal form.


Very important: paying without registering on the new website does not constitute registration or membership renewal!
If you pay without first registering on the new website (whether you're registering for the first time or renewing your membership), we have no way of contacting you or sending you a receipt.
