We are pleased to announce that the forthcoming Israel Translators Association <\/span><\/span>Annual General Meeting<\/span><\/span> (AGM) will take place.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

When<\/span><\/span><\/b>: Sunday, June 28, 2020, at 17:00 <\/span><\/span>\u2013<\/span><\/span> 20:00 hrs.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Please note:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Due to the special circumstances of these days, this event will be conducted as a video conference via the Zoom application.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This event will be conducted also via the ITA Facebook page.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Note that the broadcast via Facebook is liable to incur some delays, and as opposed to Zoom, in Facebook you can only send written comments.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  2. The various votings in this event will be conducted via the Chat option on each platform.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  3. The general meeting will be conducted online in accordance with the requirements of the registrar of associations.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    This event will be in two parts.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    The Second Annual Debate!<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    We are continuing with a new tradition, in lieu of the customary opening lecture.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    \"I'm sorry - the content of the proposed project is opposed to my conscience, therefore I must decline\" - arguments for and against<\/strong><\/p>\n

    There will be a moderator <\/span><\/span><\/span>a<\/span><\/span><\/span> speaker in favor of the above proposal <\/span><\/span><\/span>a speaker<\/span><\/span><\/span> against it. We shall conduct a poll before and after the debate, in order to gauge changes in opinion following the discussion.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
